Abstract: The aim of this paper is to present the results research carried out in a Mathematics and Science training program for indigenous teachers Kaingang ethnic group by Unochapecó municipality Chapecó, Santa Catarina, Brazil. Based on paradigm ethno mathematics, one objectives look relations between traditional thinking classical mathematics. We propose an analogy logical-mathematical binary calculation systems thought system expressed its social organization supported two opposite complementary dual categories: Kamé-Kairu. Our hypothesis postulates certain similarity logic used example, logical circuits, with which culture encodes social, natural, even supernatural world. pair Kaingang, Kamé-Kairu serves codify kinship, exchange, alliances tribe, as well natural world that surrounds them. formulated provides interesting information mathematical scientific education intercultural contexts.
